The Crypto Exchange in South Korea Korbit Has Added Shiba Inu To The Platform
The Korbit crypto exchange has become the first trading platform in South Korea to announce support for trading operations with the Shiba Inu meme coin.
Starting today, the platform will allow customers to make transactions with cryptocurrency paired with Korean won.
In addition to SHIB, there will be a listing of the Injective Protocol (INJ), a native token of the eponymous layer 2 decentralized financing protocol.
Korbit is one of the few cryptocurrency exchanges that has managed to meet strict regulatory requirements to continue operating. Smaller players were forced to wind down their business earlier this year.
Along with the addition of Shiba Inu Korbit to the South Korean cryptocurrency market, it also launched the country's first non-interchangeable token market.
This week, Shiba Inu was listed on the Singapore stock exchange Coinhako, which was invested in by billionaire Tim Draper.
However, the cryptocurrency itself shows no signs of recovery, dropping to $0.00003740, the lowest level since October 24.
